Module behaving inappropriately
Modified By stendor on 10/29/2008 1:24:17 PM)

I bought the engage store locator on 10-24-2008 version 01.03.02. I have some questions.

1.       I notice that there is a version 1.3.4 how come I got the 1.3.2 if I just bought it?
2.       When I tried to edit one of the locations what the module did was it created a duplicate location with the changes.
3.       When I’m adding the locations there is field for the website and  when I click on the name of the company to test the link it sends me to something like www.mywebsite.com/desktopmodules/engagelocator/www.otherwebsite.com  which of course is a cannot display this website.
4.       I have the module in two different pages, one to just type the zip and click on search and the other one to display the results just like in the demo page. But when I click the search button it displays the results in that same page it doesn’t send me to the other page like I specified in the “Results Display Module” setting.
Hope you can help thanks

Re: Module behaving inappropriately

Version 1.3.4 is available as an upgrade on this site. We don't always update SnowCovered with minor updates.  In order to get access to that, please email your username and a copy of your receipt to dotnetnuke@engagesoftware.com and we will give your account access to the download.

I'll look into these other issues for you in the meantime.

Re: Module behaving inappropriately

Steve, I hope the upgrade helps with issues 2 & 4. If not, I'll dig deeper into those and see if I can figure out what's going on there for you.

For issue 3, it looks like you specified the comapny website as www.otherwebsite.com. where you need to include the protocol, like http://www.otherwebsite.com.

I can add an issue to our tracking system to make that clearer or easier in the future.

Excellent. Thank you very much; the module is working great now. And special thanks for the fast response.
