Resume Upload

Hi tested the resumé upload function,

When I go in the Job management, I see that someone has appied on a job, when I click on the resume IE ask me to download or open the file. I downloaded the file but the file is empty. I tried with .txt and .doc file and the result is the same.

Is there a configuration somewhere for this to work.

Thanks

Re: Resume Upload

Do you know that there is content in the resumé?  What file type does it download as?  Are you using IE 6 or IE 7?  There isn't anything you should have to configure to get it to work.

Re: Resume Upload

Can you download the resumés on http://demo.engagemodules.com?  If you can't, then it would seem that there is some issue with your browser, otherwise, maybe there would be an issue with the database.  Are you running SQL Server 2000 or 2005?  Can you look and see if there is data in the ResumeData column of the EngageEmployment_UserResume table?

Re: Resume Upload

- I tried to download my resume from http://demo.engagemodules.com and it work.

- DNN is running on SQL Server 2000

- The resumeData column is not null ( it say's binary), I will try to get the binary data to be sure it's not empty ( or almost empty).

Do you have any test idea ?

Re: Resume Upload

I can't think of anything off the top of my head that would be causing that.  I'll try to run some tests on my end and see if I can figure out what might be causing that to happen.

Sorry for the troubles,

Re: Resume Upload

Dave, I haven't been able to reproduce that problem with any of my tests, can you give me a link to your site so I can see what's happening there?

Thanks,
