Engage:Direct , display problem on small screens

I am using Engage:Direct on a site that has many users with low resolutions screens, so I need to optimize the skin for 800x600.

I altered the CSS to display horizontal scroll bars.  But, when viewed on a small screen (even using just a small browser window) the content in the right side of the main Content Pane disappears.  It is as if the content is slipping behind a white box as you make the window smaller and scroll to the right.

Is there any fix for this that will allow the content to remain visible?

You can see an example at http://www.cmsdevelopment.net/Sandbox2/tabid/60/Default.aspx

Thanks!

-Chuck

Re: Engage:Direct , display problem on small screens

Chuck-

Engage: Direct uses a series of wrappers including bg images to center the site, with panes using fixed widths and floats. To acheve a deisgn that will fully satisfy small and large screens, a fluid layout would be more ideal. Trying to create horizontal scroll everywhere will more than likely end up not being the most attractive, or userfriendly design. The most sure way to fix the problem would be to adjust the widths to have all content fit within 800px wide (take .header-wrap, #top-bodycontent, .footer-wrap down to 800px and then adjust the panes inside the wraps accordingly). If the majority of your audience is using a smaller screen resolution, re-sizing the content wouldnt be a bad idea. That would be where I would suggest starting first.
