Parent Category cache issue for new categories

Hello everyone,

I just set up a new category, marked it to NOT use approvals and saved it.  Now I want to add an article to that category however the new category does not show up in the Parent Category list box during article creation.  It's been about 20 minutes now.  From Host Settings I have cleared cache and restarted the app but the category does not show up when I edit my articles.  The category DOES show up however when I  view categories from the main control panel.

I remember this happening a while back and I was hoping it was fixed in 5.31 but apparently it is not.  How do I clear the Engage cache and get that list box to pick up changes?

Re: Parent Category cache issue for new categories

This has been corrected in 5.4 from my testing, you can find it on the downloads page. We also have a "Clear Publish Cache" option in the Actions menu for the module now as well.

If you can't upgrade you can try the host performance setting link to clear cache, then restart the application from the bottom of the host settings page.

Thanks Chris.  The upgrade solved it.
