Supressing content in search indexer results

Is there a way that one can ensure that some Engage Puslish modules do not come up as search results by the Indexer? In our site (www.cmcc.ca), we are using Engage Publish to display header graphics. Unfortunately, these banner images are showing up on user searches? How can we supress some modules (any kind of work around), from showing up in the Search Indexer?

Thanks,

Oscar Savoini, Canam Solutions Inc.

Re: Supressing content in search indexer results
Right now we don't have the means to supress certain items from the search process. You might be able to write a SQL job that runs to remove the unwanted content from the DNN search indexer.

Re: Supressing content in search indexer results

Has this been updated yet?  Our search results are bringing up individual modules opposed to pages which our client does not want.  If you click on one of the links - it takes you to the page and adds the module that was in the results a second time so there are two results.

Has the search been fixed yet?

Thanks.

Type Energy into the search box and click on result number 12.

Eric, we haven't updated the module to provide for this yet.

If I can think of a work around for your issue I'll post it here.
