We are working on trying to correct an issue with Child portals for the next release of Publish. Right now users on child portals are getting logged out based on some of the URL structures inside of Engage: Publish.
We are analyzing the feasibility and impact of changing the way we build urls in Publish, and possibly removing the default use of itemlink.aspx for links within Publish.
