display event details in separate page

I just installed Engage:Events and am wondering if it's possible to display the details on a separate page rather than the same page as it is doing now.

Yes, that is possible.  Setup another module on the page that you want to show details on.  Then, go into the settings for the list module, and you can select that details module for the Event Details Display Module setting.

Hope that helps,

Re: display event details in separate page

Thanks Brian. This does help but I must be doing something wrong. When I go to settings for the list module I can see the modules listed but I can't seem to choose one. Are there two parts to the Events module? a list and a detail piece?

The list of modules is the place where you select that.  I've seen once before that the radio buttons in the first column of that list weren't visible for some reason.  Are you seeing radio buttons?  If not, try adding the following CSS to your portal stylesheet (in the Site Settings page): .EventsSetting table {width: 100%;} and let me know if that helps at all.

You may need to do a hard refresh (ctrl+F5) on that page to see the new style take effect.

Hope that helps,

Yes, That does help. What I discovered is that I can see the radio buttons when using Firefox but NOT when using IE. Very weird but at least I can work with it now. Thanks for your help
