Engage: Zeen is based on a Wordpress theme design created by WeFunction Design Agency especially for Smashing Magazine and their readers (Check it out). The theme was released under GPL, and open to modification and use for all types of projects for free and without any restrictions. All they asked for in return was a link to the article to spread the word. The design simply rocked, and grew to be a popular favorite among Wordpress themes.
We decided to take this awesome design and re-work it to be usable as a DotNetNuke skin. Although it is not an exact replica of the theme, it maintains the design and layout with some extra considerations for DNN users. Some of the rich features in the theme were strictly made for the blog functions of Wordpress, so most of the blog features and styles are missing. Instead of styling particular columns in the skin, we used the flexibility of DotNetNuke Containers to create the layout and design. We also built the navigation using the core DNN Navigation tool, making sure that your menu can be dynamic and easy to manage.
Clean and Well-Commented CSS
Engage: Zeen is designed and implemented using the web standards approach. The skin package is built using XHTML/CSS for layout from skins to containers. We commented throughout our CSS, allowing the user ease of style and accesibility.

The skin package is implemented using XHTML/CSS approach with semantic markup to optimize for search engine friendliness
Valid and Cross-Browser Compatible
Works well across browsers and platforms. The markup is validated through W3C validation services
