Configuring Engage: Booking

The Settings page for Engage: Booking contains five module settings.

The Role which can submit requests for appointments allows you to select a security role within your site, any only allow users within that role to submit appointment requests.

The Calendar skin determines the look of the calendar component, as well as the tooltip and the date pickers (on the appointment request & export data forms).  The most prominent change will be the colors, though there may be slight layout differences between skins.  For enhanced customization, use the Simple skin, which is much easier to override with CSS.

The numbeer of Appointments to display per day indicates how many appointments can appear within a day in the calendar's month view.  If there are more appointments than can be displayed, there will be a "Show more..." link to that day's view in the calendar.

The number of Appointments per page affects the approval table seen by administrators.  This determines the number of unapproved appointments that can be seen at once in the table.

The Appointment Request Notifications Email Addresses is the list of email addresses (separated by commas) that should be notified each time an appointment request is made.

In addition to the settings on the module's Settings page, there are some advanced configuration options, as well.  Engage: Booking contains a large set of "extra" fields that are, by default, hidden.  These can be turned on using CSS, and renamed using DNN's localization, to capture any additional information that you might need.  If you have a need for collecting extra fields of information, please see our document Customizing the Module for instructions on how to make use of these fields.
