Administration in Engage: Booking

After a user submits an appointment request, the configured email address(es) will be notified.  This email will have links to accept or decline the request, as well as a link to the site, to further examine the request and calendar, or to provide a reason for declining the request.

When logged in as an editor of the module, the list of pending appointments will display at the top.  This alerts the editor to appointment requests that have not yet been accepted or denied.

When denying a request through this list, you can supply a reason for why the appointment was denied, so that the requestor has some guidance on how to adjust a future request.

The module ensures that your accepted appointments do not overlap, so you will not be able to accept two appointments that occur during the same time.

As the module's editor, you can see all of the details of each appointment by clicking on the View Details link on the popup.  However, remember that non-editors can only see that any particular timeslot is taken, without any further details.

Finally, if you need to export a list of your appointments, you can go to the Export Data form, specify a time frame, and export all of the appointments for that timeframe to a CSV (comma separated values) file (which can be opened in Microsoft Excel or similar applications).
