We have released a major update for Engage: Locator. In version 1.3, many new features have been added to make using the module to display your locations even better.
The most requested new features include the ability to allow users to submit comments and ratings for your locations. You can moderate these if you like, or you can turn it off if you don't need it.
Another new feature is the ability to allow and moderate locations submissions. If you allow, users can submit new locations for you to approve and include in your locations.
You now also have the ability to to add custom attributes to your locations types and set the value for each location.
You can also choose which page to display the results. This allows you to configure the module to search on one page and get the results another. (i.e. search for locations from the home page but display the results on an interior page).
There are new module settings that allow you to configure module. You can choose to use the map, satellite or hybrid display as the default. You can also determine if your location details are displayed on the same page as the results, or on a seperated page.
We want to make sure that this new release is something that will meet your needs. Let us know your thoughts on version 1.3 and what else you would like to see in the future. Stay tuned for additional releases, we'll have more changes coming soon.
